The policy lab is in line with the joint efforts of UNDP and UNICEF at national, regional, and international level where the two agencies are implementing initiatives such as Generation Unlimited and an interagency (UNICEF, UNFPA and UNDP) investment strategy (2021- 2025). The idea is to ‘empowering adolescents and youth in Pakistan as partners in innovation for development’.

The Lab complements the government’s digital efforts to creating a separate non-partisan dialogue and idea exchange safe space where young people, policy makers, civil and private sector actors can engage with global, regional, and national literature, data, good practices (with focus on adolescents and youth) through a clearinghouse and a practice school.
